Hey people! So are you wondering what the creators of the animated comedy series South Park, are planning next! Well this time around the duo of  Trey Parker and Matt Stone are not bringing us another animated series, but as usual their next project is definitely different from the usual shows. The new show is an informational magazine rather than a true news show and has been named, How’s Your News? Now you might ask what makes it different from the other informational shows. Well the difference of the show lies in the fact that the reporters featured in the show will all be suffering from some form of mental disability. Now isn’t that a unique concept that has been perhaps utilized for the first time for any show on television and by none other than the brilliant team who is responsible for giving us the slapstick comedy series named South Park. As a fan of this animated series I really liked, Trey and Matt as they are the ones who made this wonderfully offensive show that is just full of intelligent social commentary.

South Park has been criticized by many as being a show filled with racist and sexist jokes, along with other offensive material. However, I feel that the show has been one of the most misunderstood shows as many people take the show solely at face value. The show which covers a wide range of issues related to politics, the media, today’s youth, celebrities, violence in our society, and much more has tackled the problems through the exploits of four young boys in South Park, rather than presenting them as such to the people.

The concept of satire and self parody has been exploited wonderfully well, by the comic geniuses, Trey and Matt to bring across a message to the society. And people tend to forget that this is a cartoon that has been tailor made for adult audiences. So if you can’t deal with it, that’s your problem. As for me it is the best show on television and I love the creators for giving us a show like South Park!
