Trey Parker is an American artist with various talents who was born to Sharon Parker and Randy Parker. His mother was an insurance broker, while his father was a geologist. He is the younger of the two children and has an elder sister named Shelley. He went to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and later moved on to do a double major at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

It was while studying at UCB, that he met his close friend and co-creator of South Park, Matt Stone. Trey, however, was not able to graduate as he was kicked out of the University, for skipping classes and concentrating more on writing, directing and starring in Cannibal: The Musical! Later he was hired along with Stone, by Brian Graden who was an executive at FoxLab at that time to create an animated Christmas card for his friends and family. This was when the infamous short titled The Spirit of Christmas was created which later led to the origin of South Park. Trey has been married to Emma Sugiyama since January 2006.

Trey is a man with many talents and has earned a name for himself as an animator, screenwriter, director, producer, voice artist, musician, and actor. He has been the writer for American History, Your Studio and You, That’s My Bush! South Park Rally and South Park etc. He has also acted in the movies The Spirit of Christmas, For Goodness Sake II, BASEketball, Terror Firmer and Team America: World Police etc. His projects as a producer include Time Warped, Orgazmo, How’s Your News?, That’s My Bush!, Kenny vs. Spenny and South Park etc. As a television actor he has acted in Time Warped, 3 Friends & Jerry and South Park. He has also directed projects like American History, Time Warped, For Goodness Sake II, Orgazmo and Team America: World Police etc. He has been in the music department of Alferd Packer: The Musical, South Park and That’s My Bush!, besides performing in the soundtrack of Alferd Packer: The Musical, BASEketball, Bowling for Columbine, Team America: World Police and South Park etc. His animated film South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut has not only been written, produced and directed by him but has seen him perform a major role in every department related to the film. He has also appeared as himself on numerous talk shows and award functions such as The Daily Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Show with David Letterman etc. He has been nominated for eight prestigious awards, including an Oscar Award and five Emmy Awards besides winning eleven other award including three Emmy’s.
