Music Theme
The band, Primus is credited for the original theme song of the show. The score was performed by the lead singer of the band, Les Claypool. The actual version of this song was meant to be slow but for the series, the speed was pepped up. The instrumental version of the actual theme song can be often heard, while watching the ending titles of the episodes.
Up till season ten, there have been three remix versions of the opening theme song with notable but minor changes in the lyrics as well. From the fourth season’s episode, “4th Grade”, a new hip hop, edition of the theme track was introduced which was remixed by Paul Robb.

A faster version of the theme song came from the sixth season, incorporating a country music flavor. Next remix version came in the middle of season 10, which sampled the number, “Whamola”, from The Les Claypool Frog Brigade, which features in the album, titled Purple Onion.
Isaac Hayes used to do music for the show as well, being the voice behind the Chef’s sexual songs through which he detailed adult issues to the guys. One of the Chef’s song, “Chocolate Salty Balls” which was released for the Chef Aid album in 1998 in the UK, topped up the charts.
Other than this, several episodes incorporate high element, melodrama rich musical tracks to increase the humor pitch of the emotions flowing on the screen at that moment.
There are lots of examples to illustrate this fact. In the series, Eric Cartman frequently bursts into a song to portray untrue unselfishness or hopefulness, thus hiding his true feelings. In the episode “Helen Keller! The Musical” when Timmy parts away with his pet turkey, Gobbles, whom he is very fond of, melancholy music plays in the backdrop. Eric sings “Poo-Choo Train”, which is a Christmas carol, to make Mr. Hankey believe that he deserves Christmas gifts, in the episode, “Red Sleigh Down”. Next, he uses band Asia’s score, “Heat of the Moment” in the fifth season’s episode, “Kenny Dies” to make the US Senate agree to stem cell research.
Another song that came from the show, “Kyle’s Mom is a Big Fat Bitch”, gained widespread popularity. The true potential of the show’s soundtrack however was realized with the launch of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. It had songs like Blame Canada which was nominated at the Oscars and Uncle Fucka which bagged a MTV Movie Award in the category, “Best Musical Performance”, Hell Isn’t Good, La Resistance Medley, I’m Super, and Mountain Town.
Music Lyrics
I’m goin’ Down to southpark
Gonna have myself a Time
friendly faces everywhere
Hummble folks Without Temptation
I’m goin’ down to southpark
Gonna leave my woes behind
ample parking day or night
people shouting ,”Howdy,neighbor”
i’m headin’ down to southpark
Gonna see if i can’t unwind
I like girls With big vagina
I like girls big fat titties
So come on down to South park
And Meet Some friends of mine.
